We are looking for a Project Manager for the replacement of escalators at Citybanan and Odenplan for a government authority within traffic.

This is a consulting assignment. The work location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The section for Buses, Commuter Trains, and Transfer Points is part of the Investments Projects department, which is responsible for leading and executing programs and projects of various scopes and complexities. The section ensures that projects deliver according to plan and that competent personnel are available.

In this project, escalators at the Stockholm City and Stockholm Odenplan stations will be replaced before they reach their assessed design lifespan. The goal is to ensure that the replacement occurs according to the developed feasibility study and directional decision, with deliveries that meet technical requirements. The project also includes measures on the associated structure and truss construction. Planning must consider fire protection requirements so that the stations can remain operational without disruptions. The project manager is responsible for ensuring that the project is carried out according to the department's project management routines.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute projects according to established project specifications regarding scope, time, cost, and quality.

Establish and update the project plan based on the project order.

Ensure that the project is driven according to internal guidelines, routines, and project methodology.

Follow safety requirements as well as environmental and occupational health requirements.

Report monthly to the sponsor and steering group.

Collaborate with procurement leaders and other project managers on contract and procurement issues.

Be responsible for the project's handover and closure, including compiling experiences and final reports.

Participate in technical issues and communicate with relevant stakeholders.

Create and maintain a project culture that aligns with the organization's values.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Documented experience, at least 9 years of experience as a project manager for complex construction and civil engineering projects with at least one project budget of 250 million SEK. The competence must have been acquired in the last 15 years.

Documented education in building technology, civil engineering, or equivalent. The education must have been at least 3 years full-time to be approved. Colleges and universities are accepted if they have been at least 3 years long full-time.

At least 5 years of experience from working in projects that have applied AB04 and/or ABT06.

Documented experience of having participated in at least 1 project within public operations in a leading position for the client organization within construction and civil engineering or equivalent projects. The project must have had a budget of at least 100 million SEK. Leading positions include project manager and project director.

Desirable

Certification in project management according to PMP, IPMA, or equivalent training.

At least 4 years of experience as a project manager in escalator installations.

At least 4 years of experience in early project phases, as a project manager with a project budget of at least 50 million SEK. Early phases include: Feasibility study, choice of measures, planning phase, or equivalent.
